If you’re looking to rent a room for a week, you’re out of luck, but if you’re staying in a hotel, you can get a month’s free of charge
The rental market is heating up again with a slew of new Airbnb listings.
While we’re still waiting on the final numbers, it looks like some hotels are charging a month-to-month rate, and some are giving free stays to their guests.
HotelierRatings, an online tool that tracks rental listings, found that some hotels in the U.S. are offering free stays for the first month of a stay.
The site said it found a total of 10 Airbnb listings in the US offering a month of free stays, including a hotel in New York City that said it would offer a free stay for all of the first week of February.
The listings are all listed in the Airbnb listings section, and the hotels have all been offering the free stay as a way to help guests find rooms, the site said.
While it’s unclear how many of the Airbnb hotels are giving out free stays as a result of Airbnb’s new policy, it is not clear if the listings are in fact free or not.
Aurora Hotels, which also offers a month free stay, said it has been offering a free month of stay to guests for the last year and a half.
The company said in a statement that it “was working to remove the free hotel stays as of February 20th, 2018.
This policy has not been changed.
We will continue to work with our guests to ensure that their stay is free and that they have the opportunity to find the right hotel for their needs.”
In a statement, Airbnb said that it had “taken the unprecedented step of requiring all of our listings to adhere to the same strict rules of disclosure to make sure everyone in our community is treated fairly and equitably.”
